2009 - Putting Contest & Fundraising Update
- Cam Walsh emerged victorious
from the second library putting event this past Wednesday, with a -1
under 17 on the 9-hole course. We have begun our fundraising
to purchase new golf equipment for the program. Players are
getting pledges for how many putts they can make from 10 feet out of
100 attempts. They are also accepting flat donations.
Players also need to remember to bring in their $20 for shirts.
All checks payable to BFA Golf. Our putting pledge challenge
will be on Monday, April 13th following school. Stay tuned...

First Two Weeks of Golf Update
- We have completed rules and
etiquette, and Zach Larose was our rules quiz champion, winning a
tie-breaker with Cody Lefebvre and Ben Spaulding. In our
second week, we focused on putting, and Cody Lefebvre won a playoff
over Cam Walsh to win our first putting event in the Library, both
shooting 1-over par on the 9-hole course.

saw its shadow, the golf teams are close to starting up again.
The Bobwhite and Comet spring schedules are now posted online in
