Great Season for BFA Golf
- The BFA golf season has
wrapped up, and it was a very eventful and rewarding season.
This was the first year that there was a full girls golf team, and
they were fortunate to have an outstanding coach in professional
Mike Swim. They even won a tournament in their first full
season, which is outstanding. In addition, the boys and girls
teams raised enough money to get new Ping golf bags next season for
each team. Special thanks to Josh Kaufmann at the Messenger
for his excellent coverage of the team, and to the Champlain Country
Club for their generosity in letting both teams utilize their
outstanding course for the season. Enjoy the summer!

Happy New Year from Academy Golf
- It's hard to imagine golf in
the frigid temperatures outside, but in about three months we'll be
swinging again. If you're like me, it's hard not to take a few
putts on the carpet, and take the clubs out for a few swings every
now and then. The web site is also in the process of a few
tune-ups here and there, so stay tuned for more information. Enjoy the rest of the cold season, see you all
in the spring at BFA and Champlain Country Club. CH.
